Now that there are a lot of online events bubbling up, I decided to make a shortcut to quickly add them to my phone's calendar. Just run this shortcut out of the "Share" menu when you see an event you'd like to attend and the shortcut will do the rest.

Continue reading →How to be at a certain place at a certain time: 1. Remember what date, time, and location the place is, and continue remembering for days. 2. On that day, get the address, plug it into Google Maps and find out how long it will take to get there. Subtract the ETA from the time you want to be there. 3. Decide that you want to leave about 20 minutes early to make a stop along the way. Subtract 20 minutes from the time you want to be there subtracted from the ETA. 4. You will need to remember to warn yourself to start getting ready beforehand, so subtract another 10 minutes. Keep all 4 of these numbers in your head at the same time.
